Here’s what’s going on in the near future for home inspectors:
* Last chance to sign up for the RESNET Building Performance Conference which kicks off tomorrow through March 1 in Orlando, Florida. Sessions range from workshops on how to triage energy concerns in a home to a crash course on energy auditing swimming pools. Those seeking BPI continuing education credits can check out the list of available classes right over here.
* Can’t make it to RESNET or just want to hang around Florida for a bit longer? The Florida Association of Building Inspectors’ spring conference will also be held in Orlando March 8 through 10. The Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association conference will be held in Frankfort, KY that same weekend.
* If you’d like to present at Inspection World next year, now is the time to get your materials together. Proposals for seminars and workshops will be accepted through March 15.
* West Coasters in the home energy field may consider attending the Better Living Home, Garden and Lifestyle show in Portland, Oregon March 22 through 24. Though this show has a holistic sustainable living focus, it could be a good opportunity to network with others in the environmentally-conscious fields.
* The 2013 Atlantic City “Get Certified” Inspection conference hits shores April 22 through 24. Snag an early bird registration by picking your class package before it’s too late.
* Looking even further ahead, the ACI Home Energy Leadership Summit is scheduled for April 29 through 30 in Denver, Colorado.
